ATHENS, Dec. 27 (Xinhua) -- Greece, Cyprus and Armenia signed new military cooperation agreements for 2025 in Athens on Friday, the Greek national news agency AMNA reported.

The "Greece-Cyprus-Armenia Joint Action Plan" and the "Greece-Armenia Military Cooperation Programme" build on similar agreements signed for 2024, the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (GEETHA) said.

The new plans include operational training activities, joint special forces exercises, exchanges of experience and lessons learned, and director-level staff meetings.

These initiatives reinforce strong military ties between the three countries and aim to enhance the operational capabilities and interoperability of their armed forces, GEETHA added. Enditem
