JERUSALEM/RAMALLAH -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday visited the Tulkarm refugee camp in the West Bank, joining Israeli military forces operating in the area.

In a recorded video statement, Netanyahu said that in response to the recent three blasts, which ripped through empty buses late on Thursday in the Tel Aviv area, Israel has increased its forces in the West Bank and will conduct additional operational activity against "terror centers." GAZA -- Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, handed over the body of Shiri Bibas, an Israeli hostage, to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) on Friday, according to a senior Hamas official, after Israeli authorities determined that a body returned by Hamas on Thursday was not her.

ANKARA -- Turkish authorities launched on Friday an investigation into Maydonoz Doner, a doner kebab restaurant chain with 390 branches, over alleged ties to the Gulen movement.

BEIRUT -- Lebanese President Joseph Aoun on Friday called on the United States to continue supporting the Lebanese army with equipment and resources to help it carry out its national security duties, particularly in southern Lebanon.

During a meeting with a U.S. congressional delegation led by congressman Darrell Issa in Beirut, Aoun also urged Washington to pressure Israel to complete its withdrawal from five remaining points it still occupies in southern Lebanon, according to a statement released by Lebanon's presidency.
