SANAA -- The U.S. military conducted fresh strikes on Yemen's northern province of Saada on Tuesday night, Houthi-run al-Masirah TV reported.

JERUSALEM -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Tuesday that Israel will escalate its renewed assault on the Gaza Strip and that "from now on, the negotiations (on Gaza ceasefire) will take place only under fire."

CAIRO -- Palestine requested on Tuesday an extraordinary session of the Council of the Arab League (LAS) after Israel's renewed, deadly airstrikes on Gaza.

In a statement, Palestine's Permanent Representative to the LAS Muhannad al-Aklouk said his country submitted a request to the General Secretariat of the LAS to convene an extraordinary session of the council at the level of permanent representatives. GAZA -- The Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement announced on Tuesday that Naji Abu Saif, spokesman for its military wing al-Quds Brigades, was killed during Israeli strikes.
