YANGON, March 19 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar's foreign trade reached 25.79 billion U.S. dollars in the first 11 months of the 2024-25 fiscal year, state-run daily Myanma Alinn reported on Wednesday.

Foreign trade conducted between April 1 last year and March 12 this year accounts for 78 percent of the country's foreign trade target of 33 billion dollars for the fiscal year, the report said, adding that government departments, private associations, and exporters are working together to meet the target and double exports.

To boost the country's exports, the National Export Strategy Government-Private Export Promotion Committee held a meeting in Nay Pyi Taw on Tuesday, the report said.

The meeting discussed the National Export Strategy (2020-25) and the drafting of the National Export Strategy (2026-30), the report added.

Myanmar mainly exports agricultural, animal and marine products, minerals, forest products and manufacturing goods to its trade partners, including China, Thailand, Bangladesh and India. Enditem
