Man rescued after 122 hours in Myanmar's Sagaing region

YANGON, April 2 (Xinhua) -- A man trapped beneath the debris of a collapsed guesthouse for 122 hours was rescued in Myanmar's Sagaing region, following Friday's devastating earthquake, according to the Myanmar Fire Services Department (MFSD) on Wednesday.

The MFSD rescue team, in collaboration with international rescuers, carried out the operation and successfully pulled him out alive at 2:45 p.m. local time on Wednesday, it said.
