BEIJING, April 21 (Xinhua) -- Kenyan President William Ruto will pay a state visit to China from April 22 to 26 at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
William Samoei Ruto, 58, was elected as deputy president of Kenya in 2013 and was reelected in 2017.
He has served as Kenyan president for a five-year term since September 2022.
Ruto visited China in October 2023 and September 2024 to attend the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation and the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, respectively.
It is Ruto's first state visit to China as president of Kenya. Enditem
