SEOUL -- Twenty-two people were injured on Tuesday as gas leaked in South Korea's chip-making plant, according to Yonhap news agency.

TOKYO -- Japan's Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) has decided to hold its upcoming leadership election in a full-scale format, including votes from both lawmakers and rank-and-file party members, to select a successor to Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba.

BANGKOK -- Thailand's Supreme Court ruled on Tuesday that former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra was unlawfully allowed to stay in hospital detention and should return to prison to complete his sentence.
