WASHINGTON/CARACAS -- U.S. President Donald Trump said on Saturday that the United States has struck Venezuela and captured its President Nicolas Maduro, who was flown out of the country along with his wife.
"The United States of America has successfully carried out a large scale strike against Venezuela and its leader, President Nicolas Maduro, who has been, along with his wife, captured and flown out of the Country," Trump said in a Truth Social post, adding that the operation "was done in conjunction with U.S. Law Enforcement." LOS ANGELES -- Four people were killed after a private helicopter crashed in a mountainous area of the U.S. state of Arizona on Friday, authorities said.

GAZA -- Two Palestinians, including an 11-year-old girl, were killed on Saturday by Israeli fire in the Gaza Strip, as Israel carried out airstrikes across the eastern part of the enclave, Palestinian sources reported.
Mahmoud Basal, spokesperson for the Gaza Civil Defense, told Xinhua that a 27-year-old man was shot dead while attempting to reach his home in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City. The neighborhood lies close to the so-called "yellow line," a demarcation marking areas where Israeli troops remain deployed and where civilians are frequently warned not to cross. NEW DELHI -- At least 14 armed rebels, locally called Naxals, were killed in India's central state of Chhattisgarh, the police said on Saturday.
The confrontation between the security personnel and Naxals began at around 5:00 a.m. on Saturday. Twelve Naxals were killed in the Sukma district, while two others were eliminated in the Bijapur district, the police said. (India-Naxals Killed) Enditem
