BANGKOK/PHNOM PENH -- Thai media reports, citing the Thai army, said a grenade was fired from the Cambodian side and landed near a Thai operational base in the border area on Thursday, a claim which was denied by Cambodian authorities.

COLOMBO -- Sri Lanka's Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport recorded its highest passenger traffic in 2025 since beginning operations in 2013, according to Sri Lanka's ports and civil aviation ministry.

NEW DELHI -- At least 15 people died and some others were injured when an explosion took place inside a coalmine in India's northeastern state of Meghalaya, official sources confirmed on Thursday.
