WASHINGTON -- U.S. President Donald Trump said that the U.S.-Israeli war with Iran will end "soon" because there is "practically nothing left to target."
"A little this and that ... Any time I want it to end, it will end," Trump told U.S. online media outlet Axios in a five-minute phone interview on Wednesday.

MOSCOW -- Participants in the Ukraine talks are considering Istanbul as a possibility to continue negotiations, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Wednesday.

KHARTOUM -- Drone attacks struck a transport truck and a school-health center complex in two separate Sudanese states this week, killing at least 69 people, medical sources and volunteers said Wednesday.
In the deadlier of the two strikes, a drone hit a civilian transport truck Tuesday in Abu Zabad, in West Kordofan state in southern Sudan, killing 52 people. MADRID -- Spain has formally withdrawn its ambassador to Israel, leaving the Spanish Embassy in Tel Aviv to be headed by a charge d'affaires, the government said Wednesday in an official state bulletin.
