MOSCOW -- Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday that six people died as a result of the Ukrainian drone strike targeting educational buildings and a student dormitory in the Luhansk region.

GENEVA -- The public health risk from the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo has been upgraded from high to very high, the World Health Organization (WHO) said on Friday.

TEHRAN -- The Navy of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) said Friday that 35 more vessels, including oil tankers, containerships and commercial vessels, have crossed the Strait of Hormuz within the past 24 hours in coordination with and under the protection of its forces.
In a statement published on the IRGC's official news outlet Sepah News, the Navy said that despite insecurity caused in the strait following the U.S. and Israeli military "aggression" against Iran, its forces have managed to create a safe route for the passage of vessels and the continuation of the global trade. WASHINGTON -- U.S. President Donald Trump said Thursday that the United States does not want to impose tolls on vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz, reversing remarks he made last month suggesting Washington would collect such tolls.
