GAZA -- Five Palestinians were killed Tuesday in an Israeli airstrike east of the Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, according to Palestinian security and medical sources.
Security sources said that Israeli drones targeted a group of Palestinians as they attempted to confront a group working with the Israeli army who were trying to raid several homes east of the Maghazi camp. (Gaza Strip-Hamas-Israel)

TEHRAN -- Iran's Foreign Ministry on Tuesday accused the United States of "flagrant violation" of a ceasefire reached between the two countries last month, following U.S. military strikes in southern Iran.

LONDON -- A tanker reported an external explosion about 60 nautical miles east of Muscat in the Gulf of Oman, with no casualties reported, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) said Tuesday.
