TEHRAN -- Iran's Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said Friday night that the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the United States to end the war could take place within the next few days.

In an interview with state-run IRIB TV, Araghchi said that upon finalized, the MoU will be signed digitally by both sides in their respective countries and then announced. (Iran-US-MoU)

MANILA -- At least 55 people were killed, 38 missing and 1,120 injured after a magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck off the southern coast of Mindanao, the Philippines, on Monday, said the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) on Friday.

NEW YORK -- A shooting in Midland, U.S. state of Texas, left one person dead and 11 others injured on Friday morning, according to multiple media reports.

The shooting began in southeast Midland and progressed across the southern portion of the city. The suspected gunman also died after a standoff, according to authorities. (US-Texas-Shooting)

JERUSALEM -- The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Friday that it had killed three militant commanders in the Gaza Strip in precise strikes carried out a day earlier.

The IDF said in a statement that those killed were identified as Qasslam Hassan Saleh and Sami Jamil Abu Dalal, both platoon commanders in the Islamic Jihad movement, and Ubay Mamoun Saleh Farwana, a deputy company commander of Hamas. (Israel-Gaza-Casualties) Enditem
