MOSCOW, June 14 (Xinhua) -- Three people, including two children, died after a motorboat capsized on Lake Linevo in Russia's Altai Krai, the regional Investigative Committee's press service said on Saturday.
According to the agency, the incident occurred on Saturday evening when a motorboat carrying six children overturned about 10 to 12 meters from the shore.
The boat operator and two children, aged eight and nine, were killed. The other four children survived.
Russia's Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case on charges of causing the deaths of two or more people through negligence. Enditem
