WASHINGTON -- U.S. forces intercepted three commercial vessels attempting to breach the U.S. naval blockade against Iran, the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said Thursday.
CENTCOM said on X that U.S. forces redirected the three vessels, disabled one that failed to comply, and boarded another "to ensure full compliance with the ongoing U.S. naval blockade against Iran." (U.S.-Iran-Blockade)

TEHRAN -- At least one person was killed and seven others were wounded Thursday night in a new wave of U.S. strikes against southern Iran's Hormozgan province, state-run IRIB news agency reported.
The report said the strikes targeted two bridges in Bandar Khamir County, killing the driver of a car crossing one of the bridges.
In addition, a U.S. strike against a residential area, named Allaho Akbar, in the port city of Bandar Abbas left seven people wounded, the IRIB reported, adding a telecommunications tower was also targeted in the city. (Iran-U.S.-Strikes)

RABAT -- The 15th Morocco-France High-Level Meeting was held here on Thursday, with a dozen agreements signed covering transport, water resources, and electricity interconnection.
During the meeting, Moroccan Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch and his French counterpart Sebastien Lecornu pledged to deepen bilateral cooperation in economy, energy, transport, security, and people-to-people exchanges. (Morocco-France-Cooperation)

ADEN, Yemen -- Chairman of Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council Rashad Al-Alimi said Thursday his government will not allow any foreign aircraft to land at Yemeni airports without its approval, as tensions mounted over access to Houthi-controlled Sanaa International Airport.
In a press statement carried by the state-run Saba news agency, Al-Alimi said the government will take "all legitimate measures" to protect the country's airspace and sovereignty while avoiding a broader regional escalation. (Yemen-Houthis-Airspace Control) Enditem
