JERUSALEM -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday issued a rare condemnation of settler violence in the West Bank, calling attacks in the Palestinian villages of Qusra and Jalud "criminal" and urging authorities to arrest those responsible.
"I strongly condemn the criminal acts of violence committed in the villages of Qusra and Jalud," Netanyahu said in a statement, calling the attackers as "a handful of rioters who are violating the law." (Israel-West Bank-Settler violence-Condemnation)

ANKARA -- The Turkish Foreign Ministry summoned the Ukrainian ambassador to Ankara over a series of attack on Turkish-operated vessels in the Black Sea, an anonymous source from the Turkish Foreign Ministry said on Saturday.

TEHRAN -- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Saturday the peace memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between Iran and the United States is in the interests of the country, West Asia and the world.
During a ceremony in the Iranian capital Tehran, he stressed that with the MoU's implementation, the United States and Israel will not be able to cause chaos, aggression and insecurity in the region, and regional states will be able to pursue the path of stability and development, according to a statement published on the website of his office.
