JERUSALEM, Sept. 6 (Xinhua) -- Chinese automaker Zeekr, wholly owned by Geely Automobile Holdings, launched sales of a new electric car model in Israel on Sunday, its local importer Geo Mobility said in a statement.

Sales of the Zeekr 7GT, known in China as the 007 GT model, were officially announced in Israel at a press conference hosted by Geo Mobility in Tel Aviv.

The Zeekr 7GT is an electric compact executive shooting brake, equipped with a 75-kWh or 100-kWh battery, depending on the model version.

It offers a range of up to 655 km, a maximum speed of 210 km/h, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, and fast charging from 10 to 80 percent in 11 to 15 minutes.

In the first eight months of 2026, Zeekr ranked sixth in Israel in electric vehicle sales, with 1,466 units delivered, said the Israel Vehicle Importers Association.

The association added that Chinese brands accounted for the largest share of passenger car imports into Israel during the period, totaling 103,849 units. Enditem
