12 Million Yuan Worth of Oil Paintings on Show in Guangzhou

Oil Painting Yang Guifei Intoxicated by Liu Linghua

Luxury sports cars, precious jewelry and the world's most prestigious brands will be on show at the upcoming Guangzhou luxury products exhibition, but the limelight will be firmly fixed on art.

Five classic oil paintings by the Chinese Van Gogh, Liu Linghua, will be on display in Guangzhou on December 15.

Amongst the works on display, the painting Time (Sui Yue) is worth around 12,000, 000 yuan, while Yang Guifei Intoxicated (Guifei Zuijiu) is worth 10,000, 000 yuan. Zhaoshi Orphan (Zhaoshi Gu'er) is valued at 8,000, 000 yuan, Match-maker (Hongniang) at 6,000, 000 yuan and Rose (Meigui) at 5,000, 000 yuan.

Liu Linghua was born in Xi'an, the capital city of the Shaanxi province. He has been dubbed the Chinese Van Gogh for his gorgeous mix of vivid colors and unique portraiture skills.
