Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang made the announcement at a press briefing on Thursday.

He said these experts would exchange views with Japanese police on issues related to the investigation and experiments on the dumplings.

Qin said China considers it a good opportunity to strengthen police contacts and cooperation, and hopes to uncover the truth as soon as possible.

Qin Gang also said China has refuted a report by the Japanese media that Japan proposed to submit the East China Sea issue to an international tribunal.

Qin reaffirmed that China has sufficient legal ground on the East China Sea issue.

He said China and Japan should resolve the dispute through negotiations in accordance with the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea.
