Hu to attend Boao Forum for Asia

Chinese President Hu Jintao will attend the opening ceremony of the annual meeting of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) on April 12 and deliver a keynote speech, a senior Chinese Foreign Ministry official said on Thursday at a press briefing.

The annual meeting, scheduled from April 11 to 13, will focus on environment-related talks to build a sustainable Asia.

The BFA was established in 2001 as a platform for high-level interaction between leaders from Asia and the world.
