The Beijing Olympic Basketball Gymnasium made its debut on Saturday as the women's basketball international invitation tipped off. Players, coaches and spectators were all impressed by the stadium.

Beijing Olympic Basketball Gymnasium, the venue for the Olympic basketball preliminaries and finals, made its debut on Saturday.

Covering an area of 168,000 square meters, the gymnasium has a total of 7 floors: three underground and four above ground, with capacity for 18,700 spectators.

The funnel-shaped LED display system is the first set of comprehensive displays in China that is able to meet the demands of the NBA.

Spectator said, "It is a great gymnasium. It is like the gymnasium that we saw on TV. It is almost like I am sitting in an NBA gymnasium."

Spectator seats are upholstered for comfort and convenience. On the second floor, there are 45 luxury boxes.

Spectator said,"The seats in the other gymnasium are usually hard ones. And, the seats here are much more comfortable. "
