Sino-India young ambassadors convey green messages
Adjust font size:

The Green Journey began in Beijing and will take these ambassadors to Shanghai, Chongqing, Guangzhou and Hong Kong.

Today, students ran public workshops at the Beijing Planetarium where they engaged visitors with climate change issues through games and activities. As a symbol of the growing public desire to tackle climate change, the ambassadors took what they are calling a ‘Green Tree’ on their journey.

At each stop on the trip, students will ask members of the public to contribute their innovative environmental tips, suggestions for individual action, and messages to the world about climate change. The tips and messages will be pinned, like leaves, to the Green Tree – which, by the end of the journey, will be in full boom with public support for tackling climate change.
