According to the Report on Chinese 100-city Real Estate Price Index, for June 2016, which was conducted by the China Index Academy, the average home price is 11,816 yuan (1,767 U.S. dollars) per square meter, up 1.32 percent month on month. Zhuhai, with an average home price running to 16,432 yuan per square meter, ranks ninth in the country.

Report data show that in June of this year, the top 10 cities with the fastest monthly increase in new residential housing prices are Nanjing, Xiamen, Jiaxing, Wenzhou, Langfang, Foshan, Wuhan, Hefei, Kunshan and Lanzhou. Zhuhai ranks 14th, the second time the city has been out of the top ten. From January to June, the month-on-month housing price growth in Zhuhai was 2.75 percent, 4.21 percent, 2.72 percent, 4.05 percent, 2.72 percent and 2.04 percent, respectively.

Zhuhai's new residential housing prices have increased from 14,075 yuan per square meter in January to 16,432 yuan per square meter in June, a rise of 2,357 yuan per square meter in half a year. Based on Zhuhai commercial housing pre-sales professional network data, Zhuhai has 29,553 residential houses listed online, with the monthly average reaching 4,925.
