Photo shows a Temple of Confucius located in the Ningyuan county, central China's Hunan province. The construction project of the temple started in the Northern Song Dynasty (960 – 1127). The present temple was rebuilt in the end of the Qing Dynasty (1636 – 1912). Orientated north and south, the temple is 60.2 meters wide from east to west and 170.8 meters long from north to south. It is the best-preserved and grandest Temple of Confucius found in central and south China. [hunan.gov.cn]
