Readzone bookstore

Wailingding Island is one of 147 islands in Zhuhai that depends on tourism, fishing and maritime resources. As the livelihood of local residents is improving, they are calling for a richer cultural life. A bookstore named Readzone could satisfy this demand.

Located at the dock of Wailingding Island, Readzone opened on Jan. 16 with nearly 10,000 books covering the fields such as social science, tourism, health maintenance and diet. Free books are also available in the store. Activities like culture salons and book clubs will be held here periodically. Combined with the Mediterranean styled design, Readzone wants to integrate itself into local cultural tourism.
