Pilot pet consignment service on high-speed railways expands scope

7月1日，一只宠物猫在专用宠物运输箱内“等待乘车”。当日是2025年全国铁路暑期运输首日，武汉站迎来特殊的“萌宠”旅客。这些符合条件的宠物与主人搭乘同趟高铁列车，实现人宠同车出发、同时抵达。旅客可同车托运1只家庭驯养且健康状况良好、单只体重不超过15公斤、肩高不超过40厘米的猫、犬类宠物。据了解，自6月20日起，高铁宠物托运服务进一步扩大试点范围，覆盖京沪、京广、京哈、沪昆等8条高铁的北京南、上海虹桥、南京南、郑州东、武汉、长沙南等25座车站、38趟动车组列车。[新华社记者 伍志尊 摄]
