As of Sunday, the sixth round of disciplinary inspection launched by the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) has completed the stationing work, according to an official statement.
The inspection teams will carry out routine inspections in 16 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities. In addition, joint inspections will be conducted in 10 sub-provincial cities in collaboration with relevant provincial-level inspection agencies.
According to the statement, the new round of disciplinary inspection will focus on violations of political and organizational discipline, and discipline regarding integrity, the public, work and life.
The inspection teams will be stationed at their assigned units for approximately two and a half months. Telephone lines and mailboxes will be set up to receive reports and complaints from the public until Sept. 23 this year.
