US dance company gets flash mob welcome in Xinjiang

The Limón Dance Company from the United States arrived in Urumqi, the capital of China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, on Wednesday evening to participate in the China Xinjiang International Dance Festival.

A local Xinjiang dance troupe welcomed the American dancers with a flash mob performance that conveyed enthusiasm and friendship. 

The visit marks the first time the renowned Limón Dance Company has participated in the festival. The company is scheduled to perform at the Urumqi Peking Opera House on Aug. 2 and 3.
