Beijing is set to showcase cutting-edge transportation and logistics solutions at the 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) set for Sept. 10-14, with more than 100 leading companies from around the world participating in the "Supply Chain and Transport Services" exhibition at Shougang Park. About 60% of exhibitors are Fortune Global 500 and industry leaders, with international companies making up nearly a quarter.
The exhibition will feature two main zones: smart public transportation and smart logistics. Highlights will include digital transportation technologies, green and low-carbon solutions, and innovations in intelligent manufacturing.
Exhibitors from Beijing will showcase a range of new solutions at the event. Beijing Subway will present its smart station and operations model, inspection robots, and new passenger services such as facial recognition entry. Beijing Municipal Administration & Communications Card Co. Ltd. will unveil the Linglongtong PLUS, an NFC-based metro card for nationwide use in over 330 cities, along with the Beijing Pass metro card that allows easy payments by foreign visitors.
To address urban parking challenges, Beijing Static Traffic Investment and Operation Company will introduce its city-level shared parking platform, which integrates government oversight, enterprise operation, and residents' participation. The platform already covers 13 public lots with over 500 shared spaces and has piloted consumer-to-consumer personal parking space sharing in five residential communities.
In the smart logistics zone, global supply chain innovations will take center stage. COSCO Shipping will present its blockchain-based bills of lading, automated terminal technology, and Arctic shipping routes, while China Post will showcase its cross-border bonded warehouse services.
