Goalkeeper Tenas joins Villarreal from PSG

Villarreal on Thursday confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Arnau Tenas from Paris Saint-Germain.

24-year-old Tenas has agreed a four-year contract with the La Liga club until the end of June 2029.

The former FC Barcelona B-team player returns to Spain after two seasons with PSG, who he joined in 2023.

Although he won six trophies with PSG, including last season's Champions League, he made only eight first team appearances, seven of which were in Ligue 1, for the French giants, due to the presence of Gianluigi Donnarumma in the PSG goal.

Tenas has been a regular in the youth categories of the Spanish national team, playing at every level from U17 to U23, winning an Olympic Gold Medal with the Spain side at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
