Baku to host 2026 SportAccord Convention

SportAccord has confirmed that its 2026 Convention will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from May 24-28, 2026, following the signing of the host city agreement on Monday.

The agreement was signed by SportAccord, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Youth and Sport, and the Baku City Circuit Operations Company.

The 2026 SportAccord Convention will be centered at the Baku Convention Center, which will host panel debates, meetings, exhibitions and networking sessions. The opening ceremony will take place at the Heydar Aliyev Center.

Based in Lausanne, Switzerland, SportAccord represents more than 120 international federations across Olympic and non-Olympic sports, with its convention connecting the International Olympic Committee, federations, host cities, rights holders and industry leaders to set the agenda for the future of sport.
