Nearly 500 young players from across Tianjin took part in the city's first-ever drone soccer league in Ninghe district.
Drone soccer is officially sanctioned by the Federation Aeronautique Internationale (FAI). It pits teams of soccer ball-styled drones against each other, with the aim of flying into an opponent's goal inside an enclosed arena.
The event was a warm-up for the drone category of the National Youth Aerospace Model Education Competition.
