The Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, together with Baidu Maps, has launched a "Mid-Autumn and National Day Cultural Travel Map" to guide residents and visitors through more than 50 cultural and tourism activities during the upcoming holidays.

Available from Sept. 28, the map can be accessed online by searching "jing cai qiu yun" on Baidu Maps. The digital guide offers event details, recommended routes, and 30% discount ride-hailing coupons. Meanwhile, printed maps will be distributed at airports, major railway stations, tourist information centers, and key hotels.

Events range from historical re-creations at Lugou Bridge and Wanping Fortress, exhibitions and patriotic tourism routes, to autumn festivals showcasing red leaves and chrysanthemums in suburban parks.

Cultural highlights include the 9th Chinese Opera Culture Week, lantern fairs, and the Liangma River International Art Season. Rural celebrations including the Huairou Chestnut Festival will also bring a taste of harvest traditions.

Officials said the initiative aims to make it easier to plan holiday travel, while showcasing the capital’s seasonal and cultural appeal.
