Power company introduces new dispatching support system

State Grid Eastern Inner Mongolia Electric Power Company has introduced a new-generation dispatching technical support system to comprehensively streamline its grid dispatching management and make grid operations smarter and more precise.

The rollout of the system was a result of efforts made by the company to promote the digital transformation of grid dispatching.

The system is built upon domestically produced and self-sufficient technology and a micro-services architecture. Its database adopts a primary backup cluster mode, supporting wide-area interconnection, and enabling elastic, automatic resource allocation and on-demand sharing.

The system's multi-active and active defense mode improves continuity and security, while significantly boosting overall efficiency and stability.

The system upgrade was completed through a series of coordinated measures, such as connecting the backup dispatching IP, conducting application testing, and remodeling the computer room facilities in advance.

The power company said it will continue to make system upgrades for graphic-model verification, data governance, and practical applications, so as to enhance the capabilities of grid infrastructure.
