On Oct. 25, a critical segment of the 500-kV line project in Chifeng, Inner Mongolia, was completed despite challenging conditions, including navigating an area dense with live power lines and railways.

The process involved innovative crossing techniques and refined management protocols, including the adoption of bilateral scaffolding with full netting, which was instrumental for overpassing railways without interrupting their operations.

Given the constraints of limited space and dense wiring, the team also boldly employed a novel method to facilitate the crossing of three 220kV lines, integrating new tower construction with a temporary dummy cross-arm system and no-scaffold netting.

The completion of the section has not only cleared the biggest obstacle for subsequent stringing work, but also offered valuable experience for grid infrastructure construction in similar complex environments, according to the company.
