The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) announced Friday that it has signed a four-year contract with beIN SPORTS for the upcoming media rights of FIBA's tournaments in France.
The broadcasting rights of beIN SPORTS include the 2026 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup and 2027 FIBA Basketball World Cup, starting from the 2027 World Cup qualifiers on November 28.
The contract also includes the 2029 FIBA EuroBasket, 2027 and 2029 FIBA Continental competitions, FIBA Women's EuroBasket qualifiers and a selection of youth team games.
"We are delighted to have secured this important collaboration with beIN SPORTS. It means FIBA now has an enviable broadcast position within the French market, when also taking into account the TF1 agreement signed several months ago," said Frank Leenders, director general of FIBA Media and Marketing Services.
