Forest goalkeeper John Victor earns Brazil call-up

Nottingham Forest goalkeeper John Victor has been drafted into Brazil's squad for friendlies against Senegal and Tunisia, the Brazilian Football Confederation said on Saturday.

The uncapped 29-year-old replaces Corinthians' Hugo Souza, who was ruled out due to a thigh injury.

John was also called up by Brazil manager Carlo Ancelotti for friendlies against South Korea and Japan last month but was an unused substitute in both matches.

Brazil will meet Senegal at London's Emirates Stadium on November 15 and Tunisia at Pierre-Mauroy Stadium in Lille three days later.

The fixtures will provide one of the last chances for Ancelotti to assess his options before next year's FIFA World Cup in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
