Luohu hosts HarmonyOS Industry Development Cooperation Conference

On Tuesday, the Luohu District HarmonyOS Industry Development Cooperation Conference was held at the newly inaugurated Luohu HarmonyOS Eco Building. The event marked the launch of seven measures to support HarmonyOS development in Luohu, the release of district-wide application scenarios, and the signing of agreements with several enterprises joining the local ecosystem.

The HarmonyOS ecosystem is a key part of China’s national sci-tech strategy and a major focus for Luohu’s software and information industry growth.

The new policy package, announced by the district’s Science and Industry Information Bureau, targets the full life cycle of HarmonyOS enterprises — from R&D and application adaptation to talent and investment. Luohu plans to allocate 3 billion yuan in special funds and over 10 billion yuan in industrial investment within five years to foster long-term ecosystem growth.

The district also unveiled a list of open HarmonyOS application scenarios across government services, education, healthcare, culture, and urban development, aiming to build 10 benchmark projects in the next five years.

To support enterprise clustering, Luohu upgraded the Shenye Taifu Sci-Tech Building into the Luohu HarmonyOS Eco Building, offering integrated office, testing, and service facilities as a one-stop hub for ecosystem companies.

Four enterprises signed agreements to settle in Luohu as the first batch of HarmonyOS ecosystem partners, contributing their strengths in software development, AI chips, and smart connectivity.
