JETOUR unveiled its All-terrain Premium Hybrid Off-Road SUV, the G700, in Dubai on Nov.18, marking the model's global debut and the brand's entry into the premium off-road segment.

Founded in 2018, JETOUR develops SUVs that blend style, performance and advanced technology, targeting consumers who prioritize travel-oriented lifestyles.

The G700 is the first model in JETOUR's new G Series and is built on the company's Generation of All-Terrain Intelligent Architecture (GAIA), which combines hybrid power, off-road capability and intelligent driving systems.

The vehicle is equipped with front and rear differential locks and an electronic virtual center lock and, according to the company, can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 4.6 seconds and wade through water up to 970 millimeters deep. It has a combined range of 1,000 kilometers and a WLTC fuel consumption rate of 8.95 liters per 100 kilometers.

The debut comes as JETOUR accelerate overseas expansion, driven by advances in electrification, intelligent systems and cost-efficient production.

The Middle East has become one of the company's most dynamic overseas markets. At the launch event, Li Xueyong, executive vice president of Chery Automobile Co. Ltd., said JETOUR’s sales in the Middle East have already reached 100,000 units this year.

Li added that the G700 had already secured more than 20,000 global orders, including over 5,000 from the Middle East. With JETOUR making rapid advances in electrification and smart technologies, Li said JETOUR "will bring greater value to users worldwide."

Building on this perspective, Dai Lihong, president of JETOUR Auto, said successful globalization depends on adapting products to local conditions and user expectations.

In the Middle East, the company carried out several rounds of field research and user consultations. Based on those results, the G700 received targeted upgrades to its cooling system, sealing performance and air conditioning to handle the region's extreme heat and mix of urban and desert road conditions.

Dai said that while the industry has made significant strides in advances in new energy and intelligent technologies, building globally recognized premium brands remains an important long-term objective.

"JETOUR ultimately aims to establish itself as the world's leading premium hybrid off-road brand," he said.

"Now, we have 6+N R&D centers around the world. Moreover, we have established 10 subsidiaries and 19 overseas factories, as well as three world-class plants," he said, adding that JETOUR ranks as the top Chinese SUV brand in 16 overseas markets.

Ke said JETOUR aims to integrate local cultures and consumer habits into its "Travel+" brand strategy. "True globalization is not only about business," he said. "It is about creating and sharing values."
