Beijing expands night economy offerings

Beijing has released the 2025 night economy lists featuring 25 landmarks, 84 recommended sites, and 30 communities to boost nighttime spending, according to the Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau. 

The 25 landmarks include major shopping districts such as the CBD, Wangfujing, and Qianmen. The list also highlights scenic spots, including the Tianqiao performing arts area, the Great Wall and Yanqi Lake, as well as comprehensive shopping and entertainment districts like the Liangma River waterfront and Shougang Industrial Park.

Additionally, the bureau has recommended 84 sites covering a wide range of parks, shopping zones, cafes, and night markets. Highlights include immersive night tours at Beihai Park, water light shows at Wenyuhe Park, and shopping at the Panjiayuan antique market.

The city also listed 30 community zones that provide residents with convenient consumption options at their doorsteps.
