An AI-powered pet-friendly vertical model was unveiled at the event, enabling precise management of pets including epidemics simulation, prevention, and control. The model was developed by the Beijing Petwin Technology Company in collaboration with Pinggu district government.
Furthermore, the co-founder of "Pet Safe Star" introduced an implantable smart chip for pets at the event. This chip acts as a "digital ID card" with a unique 15-digit code, linking to the pet's identity, vaccination, and health information. It can monitor the pet's heart rate, breathing, body temperature, and activity levels, while owners can track their pet's location in real-time, review historical movement paths, and receive alerts for quick response in case the pet goes missing.
At the opening ceremony, Pinggu released its measures to support high-quality development of the pet economy, aiming to attract a cluster of pet-related enterprises to settle in the district.
Additionally, townships across the district will develop diverse and distinctive pet industry parks, with 19 such parks currently planned, eight of which are already operational.
