Liverpool said on Monday that Alexander Isak has undergone surgery after suffering a fracture to his left leg.
The club has not provided a timetable for his return, but the Sweden international is expected to be sidelined for at least several months.

In a statement, Liverpool said the 26-year-old had "successfully underwent surgery" following an "ankle injury that included a fibula fracture".
Isak came off the bench to score for Arne Slot's side during Saturday's match against Tottenham, but was injured moments after striking the ball following a challenge from Micky van de Ven.
The forward was unable to continue and was assisted off the pitch by medical staff.
