Rockets, Mavs to play pair of preseason games in Macao

The NBA and its Macao partner announced Tuesday that the Dallas Mavericks and the Houston Rockets will play two preseason games in Macao in October.

The two teams are scheduled to meet on October 9 and 11 at the Venetian Arena. In addition to the games, a series of interactive fan events will be held, including the NBA Fan Day and youth basketball clinics.

NBA Deputy Commissioner and COO Mark Tatum said that they look forward to welcoming the teams and to engaging fans, aspiring players and the local community.

Grant Chum, president and chief executive officer of local organizer Sands China, noted, "We are confident and ready to welcome the teams, players, legends and fans from around the world to Macao for another amazing NBA week filled with unforgettable experiences of sports, entertainment and community."
