Alonso left Real Madrid "by mutual" consent on Monday following Sunday's defeat to FC Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup final, with Spanish media reports also pointing to a difficult relationship with Vinicius Jr. and Bellingham.
Neither Bellingham nor Vinicius posted a public farewell message on social media in the hours after the news broke, but Bellingham responded to the reports with a message criticizing the rumors and those who spread them.
"Until now, I have let too many things slide, hoping that the truth will come to light in its own time," wrote Bellingham on his JB5 application.
"Truly feel sorry for the people who hang onto every word of these 'clowns' and their sources. Do not believe everything you read, every now and then, these lot need to be held accountable for spreading this kind of damaging misinformation for clicks and added controversy," concluded Bellingham.
