After two years and seven months, the "Jacky Cheung 60+ Concert Tour" came to a triumphant close with a sold-out finale. At 64, the singer showed no sign of slowing down, completing a 20-show Hong Kong finale leg. He even treated fans to a 12-song encore, ending the night on a high note with a rock-infused rendition of his timeless hit, “Kiss Goodbye.”

"After tonight, I'll be unemployed," Cheung said to the audience during the finale. "This is the last one! My feelings are very mixed — wanting to cry but not wanting to, feeling nervous yet not. It's hard to describe, but I won't cry! I'm in my sixties, what is there to cry about?"

Cheung said he understood that every beginning has an end, and he joked, "After this, everyone needs to work hard to earn money because I'll be starting my next tour soon." The audience responded with cheers.

The singer expressed special gratitude to the audience, stating that without fans' support, this tour could not have lasted for two years and seven months — a record he never anticipated.

The "Jacky Cheung 60+ Concert Tour" officially launched in Macao on June 9, 2023, with performances across multiple regions worldwide. The tour set a final record of 324 shows. This achievement surpassed the 233-show milestone set during his 2016 tour, once again breaking his own record for the most shows in a single tour by a Chinese artist.

During the "Jacky Cheung 60+ Concert Tour," Cheung reached an even more historic personal milestone — his total number of solo concert tour shows in his career surpassed the 1,000 mark. According to official records from Universal Music Group, the 218th show of the "Jacky Cheung 60+ Concert Tour," held in Haikou, Hainan province in 2025, was also his 1,000th solo concert since his first personal tour in 1987. This achievement makes him the first singer in the history of Chinese music to reach this milestone.

But of all the glories, Cheung said the most unforgettable experience was his on-stage collapse in Malaysia in 2023. A sudden dizzy spell from his long-standing Meniere's disease caused the fall. Cheung said that even though his mind went blank, his first thought was that "the show must go on." Due to the far-reaching impact of a cancellation on the band, crew, and thousands of audience members who had traveled from afar, he pushed through and completed the performance. Looking back, he simply said, "I didn't want everyone to be affected because of me."

He promised at the final show that he will continue to take good care of his health and keep practicing his singing. "Thank you all for giving me the opportunity to continually try different singing methods on stage, with both successes and failures along the way. It makes me feel that singing is something you can always delve deeper into. I will keep singing and present a better version of myself on stage to meet you all."

The singer further explained the reason for the "Jacky Cheung 60+ Concert Tour," saying, "I don't believe that 60+ is a number where one should stop. I wanted to prove to myself that I could do it, so I went ahead and staged this concert to show that 60 is not a frightening number."

The audience was enthusiastic, and Cheung's celebrity friends also came to show their support, including Kenny Bee, Eric Tsang, Harlem Yu, Andrew Lau, Cecilia Yip, and many more. In lieu of traditional floral tributes, gifts from friends were channeled into charitable donations. After the concert, Cheung, the sponsors and creative team held a toast ceremony and contributed 1.3 million HK dollars raised through this initiative to charity.

At a press conference after the show, the pop singer also denied a nostalgic offer from the media. He will not attempt a reunion of the "Four Heavenly Kings," a term coined by Hong Kong media in the early 1990s that refers to Cheung, Andy Lau, Leon Lai, and Aaron Kwok, the four most dominant male superstars of Hong Kong's pop music and entertainment scene during that decade.

"I don't want to dwell in the past," he said. "The 'Four Heavenly Kings' was just a product of its time. After that era ended, there was no longer any so-called 'Four Heavenly Kings.' Everyone has gone their separate ways, each doing their own thing. We never called ourselves the 'Four Heavenly Kings.'" He added that he would rather let that beautiful memory remain frozen in time, becoming a wonderful recollection for a generation.

Cheung also shared he is not going to be resting for long, revealing that his next project is a musical.
