'Beijing Trio' featured New Year gourmet products from Pinggu debut, selected as 'Beijing Gifts'

The promotion event for Pinggu Agricultural Zhongguancun Modern Food Nutrition Valley was held in Beijing today. The "Beijing Trio" gourmet gift box, produced by Ziguangyuan in Pinggu district in northeastern Beijing, made its official debut and was selected as a "Beijing Gift."

The gift box includes three classic products: specialty smoked chicken, sweet baked pastry, and Naipizi yogurt, a creamy and rich dairy product that features a unique layer of milk skin on top, embodying the auspicious wishes of "prosperity, good fortune, and joyful celebrations."

Peng Shi, vice governor of Pinggu, highlighted that Pinggu is committed to transforming agriculture from traditional production to health-oriented services. The Pinggu Agricultural Zhongguancun Modern Food Nutrition Valley has already attracted 52 food enterprises, including Zixingyuan, Want Want, and Pulmuone. The valley has also established a pilot base focused on nutrition and health, with a daily supply capacity serving 1.5 million people. It is projected to meet the dietary needs of up to 3.5 million people in the future.

As public awareness of health continues to grow in China, dietary concepts are gradually shifting toward "eating well" and "eating healthily," posing new demands on modern agricultural development. To address this, Pinggu is striving to build a regional public brand known as the "source of food technology and a new landmark for nutrition and health."

During the event, the Industry Partnership Initiative was launched, jointly initiated by Pinggu Agricultural Zhongguancun Modern Food Nutrition Valley, Beijing Capital International Airport, Daxing Airport, and key station management committees. This initiative aims to streamline the supply chain from production sites to consumption scenarios such as airports, train stations, and gas stations. Additionally, the Beijing flavor postal service was introduced, allowing residents to conveniently send Beijing-style gifts directly to their friends and family.
