重庆铁路部门试点“高铁宠物托运服务”
Chongqing launches pilot pet consignment service on high-speed railways

今年春运，重庆铁路部门在部分线路试点推出高铁宠物托运服务，以满足旅客携带宠物出行的需求。

Chongqing railway authorities have launched a pilot pet consignment service on high-speed railways on designated routes during the ongoing Spring Festival travel rush.

据悉，托运服务采用“人宠同车、到达同站”模式，旅客通过12306App提前预约，即可为符合条件的猫犬办理托运手续。

Passengers can book the service in advance through 12306, the China Railway booking platform, for their qualified domesticated pets. 

宠物将被安置在具备通风和温度、湿度监测系统的专用运输箱内，在确保安全的同时，也避免了干扰其他旅客。

These pet passengers travel in dedicated pet transport cases equipped with air circulation as well as temperature and humidity monitoring systems.
