"For nearly a decade since its grand opening, Shanghai Disney Resort has continued to push the boundaries of imagination, delivering enchanting experiences that bring Disney storytelling and creativity into every moment and spread the magic to guests of all ages worldwide," said Andrew Bolstein, president and general manager of Shanghai Disney Resort. "This overwhelming success would not have been possible without our incredible cast members, our wonderful partners, and of course — the guests who not only inspire us to keep innovating but are an essential part of that very magic."
Bolstein noted that cast members have spent the past two years preparing for the celebration, and the resort looks forward to creating more magic with guests in the year ahead. The resort unveiled its new logo and theme on Dec. 31, 2025, setting the stage for the "With You, It's Magic+" celebration, which pays tribute to those who have shared in the magic over the past decade.
Three new entertainment experiences will debut during the celebration. The all-new show "The Heart of Magic," created for the anniversary, will debut on the enhanced Enchanted Storybook Castle stage, which now includes three satellite stages and connecting bridges. The production features a line-up of beloved Disney characters and classic melodies. The four-chapter show marks the Shanghai Disneyland debut of Hercules and the first major park role for Miguel from "Coco."
Mickey's Storybook Express parade will gain two new elements. FriendSHIP! The Duffy and Friends' Special Pre-Parade will feature all seven friends aboard a ship-inspired float, adorned with playful waves and a mounted telescope. Selected guests will be invited to join and follow the parade. A "Zootopia" unit will also be added, featuring Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde and other residents aboard Gazelle's concert bus with performances of "Try Everything" and "Zoo" from the "Zootopia" films.
The nighttime spectacular "Illuminate! A Nighttime Celebration" has been reimagined with a birthday-exclusive grand finale, "Magic Together: A Special 10th Birthday Celebration." The enhanced show weaves classic Disney stories with visuals and sound. Mickey will appear in front of the castle wearing a 10th birthday magician ensemble, casting magic over the castle and Gardens of Imagination. The show has also added a new segment inspired by "Wish," featuring Star, Asha and the song "This Wish."
Throughout the year, a brand-new Star Squad in festive outfits will join various seasonal shows — from spring pre-parades with Duffy and Friends, to summer fun with Chip 'n' Dale at Gardens of Imagination, an autumn spook-tacular cavalcade, the Winter Royal Ball with Disney Princesses and Princes, and a lively Zootopia Street Party for Chinese New Year.
The resort will also feature new decorations, including a Mickey Floral with the 10th birthday logo at the entrance and hidden birthday elements throughout. Disney characters will debut new looks centered on a glimmering celebration theme, while cast members will wear new 10th birthday nametags featuring the celebration logo and two shooting stars.
Dining options will include Magic Wish Noodles across multiple locations, signature flavors from diverse Chinese cities, the return of massively popular snacks through the Magical Treat Returns program and 10th birthday-themed souvenirs.
The resort said its largest merchandise collection to date will feature plush toys, key chains, apparel, accessories and collectibles, including a new Magic Wand that lets guests summon and collect magic within the park. Interactive experiences across physical and digital platforms will invite guests to participate in activities throughout the celebration to become part of the story.
Cast members will create "With You, It's Magic+" moments through themed experiences and a Magic Squad in 10th birthday-inspired outfits offering surprise interactions throughout the resort. The "My Magic Star" feature on the Shanghai Disney Resort app and WeChat mini program allows guests to create personalized stars and participate in daily card draws.

New 10th birthday celebration park tickets launching March 20 feature 30 Disney characters as a collectible puzzle series. Each ticket includes a landmark section for photo opportunities. Disney town will also offer spring markets, workshops and walking tours, while resort hotels provide in-room birthday surprises and hidden "10" finding tours. New birthday ticket packages include family bundles with reserved show viewing, exclusive guidebooks and further offerings.
Shanghai Disney Resort is a highly desired destination featuring an eight-land theme park, two hotels, Disney town, Wishing Star Park and outdoor areas. It blends Disney storytelling with local cultural elements tailored for Chinese audiences.
According to the TEA Global Experience Index 2024 released in late October 2025, the resort welcomed 14.7 million visitors in 2024. The theme park ranks in at fifth globally and first in China. In 2025, the resort welcomed its 100 millionth guest and advanced expansion projects, including a Spider-Man themed land, two new hotels, an expansion of the "Soaring Over the Horizon" attraction, as well as a residential community for cast members.
