Beijing Yuanmingyuan Park hosts both visitors and a lantern show amid heavy snowfall

Editor's note: The Yuanmingyuan Park in Beijing hosted its first Spring Festival Lantern Fair from Feb. 10 to Mar. 3. It attracted large crowds during the holiday with Mar. 4 offering a special "Haidian Alumni Night" event, alongside a fair, where visitors enjoyed both the displays and heavy snowfall. 

Mar. 4, saw the United Front Work Department of the Communist Party of China Haidian District Committee, collaborate with several university alumni associations in Haidian. They organized a special "Haidian Alumni Night" event at the Yuanmingyuan Park Lantern Fair. As heavy snow fell that day, invited alumni enjoyed a very unique night of illuminated displays.
