Argentine striker Jonathan Calleri scored a second-half winner as leader Sao Paulo recovered from a goal down to clinch a 2-1 away victory over Bragantino in Brazil's Serie A on Sunday.

Jose Maria Herrera opened the scoring in the 36th minute, capitalizing on a rushed clearance to rifle home a low volley from the edge of the 18-yard box.

The visitors equalized through Sabino, who latched onto Danielzinho's lofted free-kick with a first-time effort that rebounded in off the far post.

Calleri completed the turnaround in the 68th minute by heading in after Lucas Ramon's cross from the right flank.

The result maintained Sao Paulo's three-point lead over second-placed Palmeiras, while Bragantino is eighth, eight points further back.

Elsewhere in Brazil's top flight on Sunday, Bahia won 1-0 at home to Internacional, Santos drew 1-1 at home to Corinthians, Fluminense edged to a 3-2 home win over Athletico Paranaense, Palmeiras edged to a 1-0 home victory over Mirassol, Coritiba prevailed 1-0 at home to Remo and Cruzeiro drew 3-3 at home to Vasco da Gama.
